Hello Astrologer,
Myself, Ritesh Shende and my DOB is 28/01/1988 and TOB is 8:20.
One astrologer suggested me to wear Gomed (Hessonite Garnet) and Panna (Emerald) in right hand as per my kundali (horoscope).
Based on that, I have worn Panna (Emerald) in my right hand little finger from wednesday onwards & I have also prepared a ring for Gomed Stone (Hessonite Garnet) to wear it on my right hand ring finger.
Can you please suggest if it is okay to wear “gomed” (hessonite garnet) in right hand ring finger?

Based on the details of your birth provided; I am considering the time of birth is morning 8:20 AM. From next time it would be really appreciated if you (or anyone else) could give their full birth detail by mentioning their place of birth as it will be very precise in casting horoscope.
As per the details provided, you are Taurus zodiac born (as per moon) on Thursday on Krittika Nakshatra 4th quadrant. As per your horoscope, I hope you are having some tensions regarding your love life and your financial status seems to be disturbed. This is because the second house is occupied by Rahu and even finiancial planet Guru is with Rahu in 2nd house. Even your family situation seems to be unstable (bearing ups and downs). However due to present planets transit from last May, your fianacial situation is quite satisfactory.
Coming to the point of Gomed, it has to be worn on middle finger (not ring finger), reason being ring finger is ruled by planet Sun and Gomed symbolises planet Rahu (north node of moon / dragons head) which are dead against enemies. And if you wear Gomed in your ring finger, I will assure you will be further ruined in financial and personel matters. Yes, Panna or Emerald can be worn on ring finger. However I would recommend you Diamond rather than Panna, as diamond will increase your family status and it will help you in getting good luck and opportunities in foreign land.

Please always provide full birth info.
It always depends for which reason you wish to wear the gemstone, it depends on your horoscope too. At times it is required to force Rahu onto Surya if Surya is troubling and you need to use Rahu to your benefit.
The ring finger is for Surya, Gomed is for Rahu. So if your astrologer has suggested you to wear Rahu on ring finger then either he is not an astrologer or an intelligent astrologer.
Regular astrologers suggest wearing Gomed (Rahu) on the middle finger (longest finger).
If you know that the astrologer who gave you these advise is really intelligent then go for it, or else follow the regular rule (middle finger).

As I can see, you (and your family) started seeing financial crises which created lots of credit upon you. And due to that, lot of tension & stress started rising from 19-02-2005 and it was a terrible time till November 2007.
Later you had a 50:50 crises and slight improvements from November 2007 to March 2010. Then it was quite a good period till last year Febuary 2013 as per your Vimshottari. I can see from your transit since from last December 2012 you had faced a major (a lot more unfavorable) changes in your family. You were very much mentally depressed at that time. You can go for a cheaper natural gemstone alternative which I have mentioned below.
Instead of Blue Sapphire you can use Amethyst (comes in blue and violet color). For 5 to 6 carat it would cost around Rs. 400 to 500. Another option which will be little costlier would be Iolite (comes in blue and violet color) which might cost around Rs. 1000 to 1500 for 5 to 6 carat of a decent quality.
And, instead of Yellow Sapphire you can use Citrine (it comes in yellow color) and would also cost around Rs. 400 to 500 for a decent quality of 5 to 6 carat. Another option which will be little costlier than Citrine would be Yellow Topaz (comes in yellow color) which might cost around Rs. 500 to 1000 for a decent quality.
Read the simulants section at this page http://www.gemstonebuzz.com/sapphire which gives an idea which gemstones are similar to Yellow Sapphire and Blue Sapphire. Simulants in gemstone means the stone which appears similar in appearance to a particular stone.

For your second question about your brother Satish Shinde he has born on Sunday and at Jyesta Nakshatra and Scorpio as zodiac.
What I can see is your brother should already had a relationship which came till neck point / final point then later it got rejected due to reasons like girl ran away with some other boy / girl rejected. One more thing even he has bad habits which he needs to come out to get married.

One important thing; any gemstone whether it is precious / semi-precious one should be frequently energising it / should follow the right rituals to keep them energised. If you fail to do these then there is no point in wearing gemstones for astrological remedies.
Coming to semi-precious gemstones these stones effect wouldn’t last for long, say for few months and if lucky for few years (depending on your behaviour and your surrounding energy fields)

In gemological field there is no precious or semi-precious name. These name were created in trade (way-back) to separate higher priced gemstones from lower priced ones and all gemstomes have different chemical composition & property so they might do differently in astrological sense but the alternatives that I provided are the best ones in case of prices.
As far as I know, it is the light/rays that transmit/reflects from the gemstone to the body matters. And, when someone says that after some time gemstone energy or power degrades it basically means that the gemstone was not cleaned and got dirty and lights could not be reflected or transmitted well from it. So, it is advised to clean gemstones on regular basis so that its refraction/reflection gets properly to the body and surrondings.
Precious gemstones are ones which are rarely available / costlier, semi-precious gemstones are the ones which are little easily available whose price are less costlier.
We all know that all the elements on universe are made in combination of some chemicals / minerals which is an scientific approach. And you can find the similar chemical composition in most of the gems as per my knowledge.
Can these gems be weared for astrological purpose will they do any mystical powers? Science doesn’t has this information. And for this information we have to refer our ancients sages like Varahamihira, Vaisampayana, Jaimini and others who have written with their sixth sense about the planets and its significators on earth even before the launch of telescope and for which we have strong evidence.
