Right Gemstone – Right Hand

Astrologically, it’s believed in general that gemstones should be worn in the right hand only. I however have seen a lot of people wearing stones in the left hand as well. Intrigued, when I looked into it, I got three different schools of thought:

1. The more common concept of gems to be worn in the right hand only as it’s the “karma” hand and hence is more receptive to energies.
2. Another school of thought classifies planets and the body into two Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and RHS body as Solar or Male and Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and LHS body as Lunar or Female. According to them the Solar stones should be worn on the Lunar hand and vice-versa to maintain balance.
3. Lastly, another flow takes us to the channelization of energy and they suggest that if one seeks to enhance the energy of a particular planet then the stone is to worn in the right hand and vice-versa.

Now this is a query on which my actual question is based, I hope there are a lot of learned and brilliant minds amongst you guys and also that this forum will satisfy my query and provide relief to me.
