Raw stones…no clue

Hi,

Could you please help? My kids keep picking these up declaring them “diamonds” 😛

Could you please help identifiying them so i can set them straight 🙂

I am sure they are not diamonds as raw/rough diamonds generally forms in cube, dodecahedron, octahedron (under cubic system).

Most probably they are just pebbles/marble.

@Himanshu – I second you, why these are not diamonds. Here are the reasons –
1. Size is very big that is not possible in natural diamond.
2. Diamond rough stones do not come in this type of shapes.
So possibly these are marble stones.

Nice to have you here at the forum.

Size of stones are not mentioned. So, we cannot determine how closeup or far the picture has been taken, so we cannot decide based upon that. But you’re correct that diamond does not comes in such forms.
