Need help regarding blue sapphire and gomedh

Hi!

My birthday date is 4th Dec 1988. I am wearing 9 carat Blue Sapphire and 9 carat Gomedh (Hessonite Garnet) in the right hand middle finger.

I started wearing from saturday night. Please explain me in details if its fine.

I have a doubt regarding the genuniess of blue sapphire. As from the picture it looks more over a dyed quartz. Also, there is a scratch on the gemstone. Since, Blue Sapphire is from Corundum family with hardness of 9 in moh’s scale it is very unlikely to have scratch on it. So, better get it certified from a reputed gemological lab in your locality.
