One important thing; any gemstone whether it is precious / semi-precious one should be frequently energising it / should follow the right rituals to keep them energised. If you fail to do these then there is no point in wearing gemstones for astrological remedies.
Coming to semi-precious gemstones these stones effect wouldn’t last for long, say for few months and if lucky for few years (depending on your behaviour and your surrounding energy fields)
