I work as a writer/editor for a magazine, as I have to sit in front of a desktop for long hours I get regular backaches. I have tried different massages and medication but it only suppresses the pain and doesn’t seem to have a lasting effect.
My Uncle who’s a vocational astrologer told me to wear Amber. I would like to know if this really works?

As per your query what i would say is your backache which you are having will be most of the time when Sun in your natal chart is been influenced by an advers planets or poisted in an wrong position along with him when mercury as well been malefic. These sorts of problems might occur. My advice to you will be to share your birth details here to predict the root cause for your problem
coming to amber. Amber are fossils. Fossilized tree sap to be exact. Amber stone does not belong to a mineral family, it is more of a natural plastic and there is not an exact chemical composition that makes up amber stone. So my advice would be to opt for real gemstones(suiting your horoscope requirements) / alternative gem stone to come out of the problem.

Gem stones as per crystal therapy will work surely work on relieving the pain. Astrology may not directly help you in this matter. Kindly place this question in the newbie and gemstones sections, our expert gemologist Himanshu shall definitely help you in this.
You also need a lot of exercises for this problem, stretching and all, kindly visit a physiotherapist too, cause the structure of your spine especially the joints near the end have popped. Use this as a primary remedy and gems as a secondary supportive remedy, lastly you may then go for an astrological gem.
